Promoting Africa’s solidarity through Fashion, Music & Sports:
Another unmatched creativity and revolutionary design from Pan-African inspired fashion house, 54 Kingdoms, gives a new meaning to the term, originality. If you are still wondering, the company’s Score For Unity (SFU) collection is finally here and available for PRE-ORDER.
The SFU collection features a continental driven fan gear for both men and women; designed to promote Africa’s solidarity through the five qualified African nations (i.e. Algeria, Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana and Nigeria), representing the continent at this year’s world soccer championship in Brazil from June 12 to July 13. Watch 54 Kingdoms’ CEO & President explain the different elements and inspiration behind their iconic collection.
The SFU collection comes with its own theme song titled Team Africa, recorded by Congolese-born singer and songwriter, Rafiya (click here to watch making of Team Africa – studio session). When asked about the collaboration, Rafiya stated, “When like-minded individuals come together to create something bigger than themselves, it’s exciting and powerful. It was such a pleasure and an honor to work with 54 Kingdoms, and to support the mission of their SFU collection in a song. Team Africa is about Africans coming together as one regardless of their country of origin. There is no question that together we’re stronger and unbreakable. We can certainly achieve magnificent things and more!”
Pre-order your SFU fan gear April 30th through May 8th to receive free shipping (continental U.S only, 5USD-Canada) in addition to a free download card for the SFU theme song, Team Africa, which can also be purchased separately on Rafiya’s online shop, and iTunes on May 2nd.
