“Always believe in the small things – only then can the small things become big.”

LOVE – The love for make-up is that with it you can be whoever you want to be without having to apologise for it. This is supported by the understanding that women don’t give themselves enough credit – this enables one to hold the key that can unlock a feeling of self-worth, even if it’s for just a moment. Some may not understand this, but this is why I believe it is true love; love isn’t understood and it is a different experience for everyone, however, it can be identified with the same emotional response.
DREAM – To be able to inspire women through my academy to express themselves, to give them an understanding that they’re stronger than they give themselves credit for. I’d like an academy that uplifts those who have a creativity talent, and equip them with skill sets they need to start their own businesses. I’d also like to expand my academy throughout South Africa and internationally as well.
SUCCEED – I define success as the point where you feel that you don’t need to please everyone.  I feel proud of what I have accomplished up till now in my life, as I believe I am proving to myself, including those who said I can’t, that i am achieving what I have set out to do and this is only the beginning. Nothing can ever happen unless you work your butt off, and this is the first feeling of success for me: When I feel I’m working hard.
GIVE – To educate the next generation of women and equip them with tools. I had support from my parents, but I was in a school were my dream was looked at as a hobby and not a dream/passion – which in turn meant I never received much acknowledgement for my creative talents and abilities which were different from the expected sports or the mathematically minded. I want to give more ‘credit’ to creative people; to remind them they are capable of doing anything, they just have to put their mind to it!
